(Tennessee)Relocation May Be OfferedDescriptionWe are searching for a Director of Recruiting and Development to work alongside our Human Resource team. Our Director of Recruiting and Development will oversee our recruitment and development function across 40+ North American manufacturing and office locations.Qualifications (Education)• Bachelor's Degree preferred• Minimum 5 years of direct recruiting and development experience• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as negotiation skills.• Ability to work with all levels of individuals and management throughout the organization.• Must have excellent organizational skills and ability to manage resources as well as people.• Experience in full cycle recruiting and sourcing.• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook-calendar, email; Excel-spreadsheets; Power point-presentations; Word) social media and job boards.• A background in performance management, employee development and nabbing top talent is crucial for this role.ResponsibilitiesTasks (Responsibilities)• In collaboration with the Department of Human Resources leadership team, and other senior leaders within the entities, creates and implements recruiting and development, onboarding, training and talent/career development programs.• Determine current staffing needs across the organization and provide pro-active support and strategy to fill those positions as well as identify gaps in talent.• Collaborate with leaders to ensure all critical positions have a backup plan in place.• Manage multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously.• Actively involved in all vendor relationships as it relates to recruiting.• Collaborate with the various business leaders of our subsidiary companies to determine recruitment strategies and support their individual business entities.• Create consistencies across all business entities as it relates to the migration of risk and compliance.• Provide on-going coaching, mentoring and development of staff to meet the needs of our recruiting and development across all brands.• Create a culture of continuous improvements in both individual development as well as organizational improvement.• Create sourcing strategies to fill open positions and the building of pipelines that anticipate future needs.• Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls etc.)• Take steps to ensure positive candidate experience.• Organize and/or attend career fairs, assessment centers or other events.• Develop metrics and reports that identify areas of improvement, trends, and provide visibility to current staffing needs in all businesses.• Make strategic recommendations to leadership on all ongoing basis as the talent infrastructure is built.• Evaluate employee performance, skills, knowledge and potential of employees to help develop career development pathways for future leadership.• Team up with recruiters and recruitment support staff to ensure we are receiving quality candidates in a timely manner.• Ensure recruiters comply with contracts, state licensing, and other regulatory requirements.• Ability to design, implement and manage training programs effectively.• Welcoming newly hired employees and executing the engagement plan throughout the onboarding journey; managing the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a great experience for new employees and a smooth start into their new roles.• Moderate travel required.Take the next step in your career.
