If you meet the below skills and requirements then there may be a place for you at this wonderful organization.Essential Functions• Responsible for writing grants and proposals• Manages grant and program development including strategizing, tracking, resource identification, data collection, research, process review and improvement initiatives.• Prospects for new funding sources.• Develops proposals for submission to federal, state and private funding agencies.• Manages a development team of 2-3 staff.• Develops strategic plans for an annual grants strategy and to secure funds for the organization• Represents the organization at local/regional/national forums, workshops, meetings and events.• Works closely with Executive Leadership to develop and implement creative strategies and to ensure that all processes and protocols are followed.Requirements• Must have a strong background in grant writing and 3-5 years of experience in a lead development role.• Bachelor’s degree is required.
