Job DescriptionThis is an opportunity with a rapidly growing full-service HVAC company and Due to our ongoing growth, we are actively seeking to hire a General Manager to help us to provide our builder clients with world-class service. The purpose of the General Manager is to oversee the daily operations for the Commercial HVAC-related activities company-wide.Duties and Responsibilities:• Drive business results and improve market efficiencies through the regular use of KPI's, regularly managing accountabilities within the team• Provide regular and consistent leadership to estimating team, communicating values, strategies, and objectives while providing motivation, training, and guidance/coaching• Participate in Commercial HVAC division planning the process to establish sales plans and budgets for assigned market• Actively manage P&L activities, analyzing results and identifying appropriate countermeasures to senior leadership• Enforce company policies/procedures and promote ethical business practices• Develop sales strategies that identify and secure revenue opportunities while building the company brand throughout the market• Actively engage in talent management processes, including recruitment strategy, performance management, employee development, etc.• Regularly communicate with associates at all levels, providing business updates and responding to associate feedback• Other duties as requiredQualifications:• College Degree in Engineering or Business related discipline• Minimum of 5-10 years' related experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a management role• Ability to review, analyze and act on operational KPI's and P&L statement data• Strong PC skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and the ability to learn new programs• Ability to interact with vendors and customers to drive top-line growth and margin targets• Must have strong decision-making skills with the ability to analyze information and determine appropriate actions• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop associates while driving accountability• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentApply now or send your resume directly to taesha.taylor@gogpac.com or 605-679-9253.All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
