A prestigious law firm is looking to add a stellar Litigation Paralegal to their office.The ideal candidate should have a solid litigation background and be able to handle assignments from various attorneys, be a self-starter who can work on their own, and be detail-oriented. The candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters.The Litigation Paralegal will:• Support litigation counsel in all stages of litigation• Manage the discovery process, including the collection, retention, and production of documents, and assist counsel in drafting discovery responses• Draft basic legal documents, including settlement agreements, document retention notices, and response letters.• Assist with pre-trial preparation, including drafting trial documents and preparing exhibits• Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely and efficient mannerREQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSMinimum 3 years civil litigation experience in:• Organizing large caseloads, discovery and trial preparation• Commercial and business litigation, experience is a plus• Office management• Solid written and oral communication skills• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint• Great time management and multi-tasking skills• Ability to act independently and with minimal supervision• Familiarity with trial presentation softwareIf you're interested in making a change, reach out to me today.
