Robotics Automation Engineer

We're hiring for a Robotics Automation Engineer for a rapidly growing company. This is a salaried, permanent, full-time position.About The Role• The position is responsible for electro-mechanical equipment and control systems. Specifies hardware and writes programs for robotics automation and PLC based control systems.• Oversee day-to-day processes and procedures for manufacturing Cells & Robotics• Support design, build, troubleshoot, and implement of new robots and secondary operations• Manage the design and build of End of Arm Tooling for production molds, repairs of EOATs and all robotics in the production environment• Analyze engineering sketches, specifications, drawings, and related data to determine electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, motion and control components for mechanical equipment.• Use computer programming software to program Robotic and PLC based control systems for manufacturing equipment.Qualifications• Must have injection molding background and strong electrical background• Must understand molding machine and robotic sequencing and communications• At least 3 years of experience directly related to robotics, automation, and designing electro-mechanical equipment for manufacturing environments.• Experience with industrial equipment; robotic equipment preferred (Ranger, Wittmann, HyRobotics, Fanuc, Rethink, Star Robots) and PLCs• Experience in industrial electrical design, PLC programming, industrial networking, etc.• Electrical Engineering degree highly preferredApply now for immediate consideration.
