Senior EstimatorA distinguished leader in the construction sector, renowned for its expertise in a variety of commercial and light industrial projects, is actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to enhance their team and contribute to ongoing success. In this pivotal role, the Senior Construction Estimator will take charge of the estimation process for complex construction projects, collaborating closely with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure that bids are not only accurate but also competitive, all while upholding our commitment to quality and safety.Key Responsibilities:• Craft detailed and precise cost estimates for a range of construction projects.• Review and analyze project documents such as plans, specifications, and contracts.• Work in tandem with project teams to fully understand project scope and requirements.• Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to solicit and assess bids.• Foster and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior estimators and support personnel.• Involve yourself in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.• Present estimates and bid proposals to management and clients effectively.Qualifications:• A bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related discipline.• At least 8 years of experience in construction estimating, with a strong emphasis on diverse commercial and light industrial projects.• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost control principles.• Proficiency in estimating software as well as the Microsoft Office Suite.• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.• Proven leadership experience in project or team environments.Compensation/Benefits:• Competitive salary paired with a comprehensive benefits package.• Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.• A dynamic, collaborative work atmosphere.• 401K plan• Bonus incentive programFor further details about this role, please reach out to Trystn Ducker directly at 402.267.2854.
