This is a great opportunity for an experienced Staff Accountant looking to challenge themselves and grow professionally.The Staff Accountant will handle all accounts payable, receivable, and payroll. They should have a minimum of five years of accounting experience, construction knowledge is a must. Our client is offering a salary between $75,000 and $90,000, plus standard benefits and 401K, and also a bonus program.As the Staff Accountant, you will have the following responsibilities: • Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and payroll • Ensure accuracy of financial records • Monitor and process transactions • Prepare budgets, financial reports, and financial statements • Monitor and reconcile accounts • Review and audit internal financial processes • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations • Maintain and update accounting recordsThe Staff Accountant should have the following essential job functions: • Ability to work with a team • Strong attention to detail • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Understanding of accounting policies and procedures • Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus • Excellent organizational and communication skillsThe ideal Staff Accountant should have the following skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting • 5+ years of accounting experience • Construction knowledge • Proficient in Microsoft Office suiteIf this sounds like the perfect opportunity for you, or for someone you know, please contact Clint Long for more information at clint.long@gogpac.com or call/text 605-370-5504.
