Structural Steel Project Manager(AISC Fabricator)JOB DESCRIPTIONAn AISC Fabricator in the Denton County is seeking a structural steel Project Manager to add to their growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the steel industry and have familiarity with Commercial Construction projects under AISC standards. Connections with major GCs operating in the Midwest is a major plus.Structural Steel Project Manager Requirements:• +2 years project management experience with emphasis on structural steel fabrication.• Commercial Project experience with Schools, Hospitals, and Sports Stadiums.• Software experience and fluency with Tekla PowerFab/Structures, Bluebeam, SDS/2, and Trimble Connect.• Knowledge of AISC certification.Structural Steel Project Manager Job Description:• Manage structural steel projects from award to completion.• Develop and manage project timeline. Work closely with purchasing, shop superintendant, detailers, vendors, subcontractors, shipping and erectors to assure deadlines are met while staying within budget.• Review all architectural and structural drawings to verify scope. Check all details prior to release to shop. Check erection plan prior to release to field.• Create and follow through on all RFIs and Change Orders. Work with estimating to make sure Change Orders are priced and submitted in a timely manner.• Attend project meetings and/or visit job sites as needed.• Keep upper management updated on project progress, including any issues, on a continuing basis.Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 DOEBenefits:• Profit Sharing• Bonus Opportunity• Additional Incentive Opportunities• Annual pay increase review (wage adjustments/cost of living)• 401k program with company matchAPPLY TODAY!
