Paralegal - Toxic Tort Asbestos CasesSalary: $70,000 - $90,000Location: California (Hybrid)Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Paralegal to support our Toxic Tort Asbestos litigation team. In this role, you will assist with case management, document preparation, and research tasks for complex asbestos-related legal matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with a background in toxic tort cases to contribute to high-stakes litigation.Key Responsibilities:• Assist attorneys with the management of asbestos and toxic tort cases, including case organization and file maintenance.• Prepare and organize legal documents, including discovery requests, pleadings, and court filings.• Conduct thorough research on case law, statutes, and regulations related to toxic tort and asbestos litigation.• Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and trials; prepare witnesses and assist with trial preparation.• Review and summarize discovery materials, including medical records and expert reports.• Manage case calendars and deadlines, ensuring timely compliance with court and procedural requirements.• Maintain accurate and detailed case notes and records, tracking all case activities and deadlines.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree and/or a paralegal certification from an accredited program.• Minimum of three years of experience as a paralegal, preferably with a focus on toxic tort or asbestos cases.• Strong familiarity with legal research tools and case management software.• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.• Proficient in drafting and reviewing legal documents and correspondence.• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.• Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with attorneys and clients.Why Apply?Join our supportive and dynamic team where you’ll play a crucial role in high-profile cases.
