Job Description
The Graduate Program Coordinator will work closely with the Chair of the Department of Global Studies & Languages and the Director of the Graduate Program to provide administrative support to the Online Master of Art in Spanish. Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the admissions process, including initial application checks, student questions, and grad school processes

Assign advisors and manage advisee lists

Answer questions from and liaise with prospective & incoming students

Update SPANTrack Moodle page as required

Manage the MA exams process - distribution, collection, etc.

Maintain program records
-
Initiate DocuSign forms
-
Schedule and attend Graduate Program meetings

Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications

Bilingual (English and Spanish)

Experience working with diverse populations

Strong multitasking and task prioritization abilities

Collaborative working style and a strong work ethic

Proficiency in computer-based applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Docs) and internet resources

Strong analytical and reflective thinking skills

Excellent organizational skills

Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications

BA in a related field

Experience using Moodle

Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and DocuSign

Experience assisting students in a college setting
Additional Information

This is a part time (.5 Full Time Equivalency) position, and salary will be between $25,000 and $30,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience.
