Grainger is hiring for Shipping and Receiving ClerkThe primary responsibility of Grainger's Shipping and Receiving Clerk is to operate and manage the handling of industrial trucks that are vital for loading and unloading materials and products, as well as moving them through the facility to their respective storage, transport, or staging areas.Responsibilities:• Skillfully unload products and materials from arriving vehicles and stack them in their assigned areas.• Pack merchandise onto pallets or crates for convenient arrangement and easy handling.• Detecting damages and reporting shortages can prevent further damage to the product or service and minimize the impact on the customer.• Move the required input to the work modules.• Assess the machinery's condition regularly, conduct repairs as needed, and maintain safe operation.• Maintain up-to-date inventory records and activity logs to prevent errors.• Observe the protocols and regulations set by the company and adhere to all legal guidelines to sustain a successful business.Qualifications:• Extensive experience as a forklift driver.• Proficiency in identifying minutiae and being familiar with industrial machinery are critical abilities.• Outstanding physical fitness and coordination abilities.• A valid certification is necessary for anyone willing to operate a forklift equipment.• High school graduates or equivalent degree holders are eligible for a wider range of job opportunities.About Company:W.W.
