As we strive to define and dominate the communication-assistant market, our product needs to deliver a context-driven and personalized experience to every user. The ideal candidate will work with customers’ implicit and explicit feedback and interactions and infer new signals to understand users’ intent, previous communications, and context to advance the product. The person in this role will apply machine learning to solve new and challenging problems and build the infrastructure and systems to operate solutions effectively at scale. They will work in a highly cross-functional team, partnering with Analytical Linguists, Computational Linguists, Data Scientists, and more. Some experience in NLP is also a bonus.Grammarly’s engineers and researchers have the freedom to innovate and uncover breakthroughs—and, in turn, influence our product roadmap. You can hear more from our team on our technical blog.As a Machine Learning Engineer in Core Product, you will have a significant customer-facing impact, which includes defining the personalized customer experience. Personalization is a top strategic goal for Grammarly. Our US locations are categorized into two compensation zones based on proximity to our hub locations.Base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
