As a Front-End Web Designer on the Granicus Web Services team you will use a combination of HTML, CSS, Smarty, JavaScript, Regular Expression, and Crystal Reports to create, validate, and deploy successful HTML, Word, Crystal Reports, and others, based templates for our clients. assessing their current documents and systems, addressing questions and requests as they arise, and implementing/creating templates based on your assessments. You will also provide support and troubleshoot issues with clients.

We are seeking a candidate with proven communication and technical abilities who has an interest in growing as a technical leader with a high-tech company. A high attention to detail and a solid understanding of layout and document design concepts is also desired.

This is the opportunity for a talented Front-End Web Designer with good business-acumen who is looking for a fast paced and rewarding position.

• Assist with setup of new Web sites
• Respond via phone and email to client inquiries
• Resolve client design issues promptly
• Document and manage client design information
• Prioritize requests and respond accordingly on daily basis
• Collaborate with Support and Development team as needed to resolve client issues
• Maintain professional image at all time to clients

• Ability to work with the following technologies, languages, and design tools: HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Dreamweaver (or other IDE), Adobe Illustrator, and Macromedia Flash (with an emphasis on motion design)
• Web, CSS 3 and HTML 5 optimization is highly desired
• Strong interpersonal/communication skills to set and manage client expectations
• Proven organizational/time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrated attention to detail to uphold an exceptional level of quality deliverables
• Usability and human-computer interaction
• Comprehension of cross browser issues
• Ability to interpret JavaScript
• 1-3 years of professional technical Web design experience
• Experience with Web based Software Company preferred
