Success in this role looks like:
- Signing and installing 8-10 merchants per month and producing $1200 or more in MRR
- Providing ongoing support to our current merchants on Kauai
Core Responsibilities
Sales:
- Identify, prospect, and set appointments by going from business location to business location in person
- Facilitate a decision-making process with potential clients by leading the conversation from beginning to end: Setting an appointment, running the sales process, closing the process, and maintaining the relationship
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales commitments
- Experience in outside sales and/or merchant services is highly preferred
- Increase the number of Kauai Merchants to accomplish Monthly goals
Account Management:
- Through proactive outreach, positively impact retention, generate referrals, and create opportunities for additional revenue
- Strengthen relationships with existing merchants to support weekly goals
- Manage a portfolio of merchant accounts by prioritizing building relationships
- Effectively triage with other departments when clients experience difficulties
- Perform rate reviews and contract renewals
- Implement proactive strategies to revitalize relationships and identify opportunities for reactivation
- Attend weekly strategy meetings to discuss individual progress, hurdles, and strategies
- Participate in weekly role plays to develop the team’s skill sets
- Facilitate in-person, virtual, or over the phone account maintenance as needed
- Install payment processing equipment
- Educate and train businesses on equipment use and troubleshooting

The salary for this position is $80,000. We may be open to negotiating outside of this range if the desired salary aligns with the needs of the candidate and the company.
