Real-life reporter, Mail+ Location: dmg::media Head Office - New York, NY 10003 Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 depending on experience Position: Permanent Job Introduction DailyMail.com is looking for an experienced and talented reporter to join its female-focused news and features team in New York. Candidates must have at least two years' previous journalism experience and a strong track record of working for a lifestyle-focused publication or digital news platform.Ideal candidates will be brimming with unique ideas and will be experts at meeting tight deadlines and producing creative and well-written copy.Topics that you will have experience writing about include but are not limited to: real life, fashion, beauty, celebrities, food, diet and nutrition, TV and documentaries, social media, and viral trends.You must have strong time management skills, and be able to turn engaging, well-written copy around quickly and accurately to meet very tight daily deadlines.You must be flexible in terms of working shift patterns and weekends.Person Specification• Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field is preferred• 2+ years' newspaper, magazine or lifestyle website experience desirable• Ability to generate news stories, with a keen eye for viral content• Passion for the DailyMail.com brand, its editorial voice and global audience• Strong understanding about key social media platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and SnapchatIn addition to a competitive salary package, excellent staff benefits (healthcare, optical, dental, 401K) and generous PTO allowance are also included.
