Responsibilities

• Supports income tax provision process including current and deferred tax calculations
• Participates in tax planning strategies
• Prepares compliance duties such as sales and use tax filings
• Supports mergers and acquisition related activity
• Coordinates all income and operational tax filings
• Prepares supporting schedules for financial statements
• Performs period-end financial close responsibilities
• Supports internal customers by researching questions and investigating variances on financial statements
• Maintains standard operating procedures including month-beginning and month-end checklists
• Maintains proper system of effective internal controls
• Communicates and collaborates within the Accounting team and cross functionally
• Supports Local, State, and Federal tax agency audits

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
