Greenberg Traurig, a global law firm, currently has an excellent full-time employment opportunity in the HRIS department, opened to various office locations.Position Summary:The HRIS Workday Analyst reports to the Director of HRIS and maintains the human resource information systems (HRIS) in support of HR operations and projects; serves as technical specialist by leveraging system functionality, system dependencies, end user training and systems documentation.Duties & Responsibilities:• Oversees Workday benefits module, working in close collaboration with the benefits team• Configures the open enrollment process• Creates daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and government required reports and generates ad hoc reports for internal and external clients as needed• Participates in cross functional projects and enhancements with other areas such benefits, recruiting, compensation, absence, time tracking, payroll, and core HR, with a primary focus on benefits• Researches and resolves problems in existing systems and partners with Information Technology vendors to troubleshoot system issues• Develops and maintains materials, delivers systems end user training, & support and troubleshoots as needed• Conducts routine audits and validation to ensures accuracy of data, rectify discrepancies and/or missing data• Updates the HR system setup and its utilization• Identifies opportunities for automation, validation and self-service to improve efficiency and data integrity of HR system processes• Coordinates, maintains and enhances HR systems• Creates and maintains documentation for supported HR systems• Performs other related duties and helps with special projects as requiredSkills & Competencies:• Strong analytical skills; able to compile and analyze data• Skilled at effectively delivering end user training and support; demonstrated ability to provide effective user support• High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively• Self-motivated, takes initiative and can work independently• Recognize confidential, sensitive, and proprietary information and maintain such information as confidential• Position also requires the ability to multi-task, work under pressure to meet strict deadlines, adapt to a fast-paced high-pressure environment to achieve business goals and objectivesQualifications & Prior Experience:• Bachelor's degree in human resources, computer science or related field or equivalent experience• Five to ten years hands-on technical experience working within HR software, HR processes and Payroll rules preferably for multiple states including experience with ATS, Onboarding, Performance Appraisal, Learning as well as core HR/Payroll systems; legal environment background a plus• Minimum of 3 years of Workday-specific experience required (including design, configuration, and testing)• Workday Pro Certified in Benefits, highly preferred• Preferred experience with Workday Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Absence, Integration BIRT Reporting, Talent Management, Time Tracking, Payroll, Compensation, Recruiting and /or LMS• Intermediate or Advanced skills: Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Adobe PDF• Comprehensive experience creating and modifying Workday Advance reports• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR certification preferred but not requiredGreenberg Traurig is an Equal Opportunity Employer and committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
