Position Overview:

GreenLife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internist or Family Medicine Physician for a full-time role at a Family Health Center in Far Rockaway, Queens, NY. Responsibilities:

  • Consult with patients to evaluate symptoms and health concerns
  • Diagnose and treat both acute and chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, heart disease)
  • Prescribe medications, therapy, and specialized care
  • Order and interpret tests, and discuss treatment plans with patients
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly
  • Educate patients on prevention, nutrition, hygiene, and wellness
  • Administer immunizations and vaccinations
  • Maintain accurate patient records and health documentation
  • Refer patients to specialists when necessary
  • Support long-term care and chronic disease management
  • Participate in research and development of new treatment strategies
  • Active New York State Medical License
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Active Medicaid and Medicare (NPI) number
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
