Founding Product Designer - B2B Marketplace

About the job A new startup we're incubating in the B2B Marketplace space is looking to bring on their first Product Designer... As a very early member of the team, you will help shape their product and strategy. Reporting directly to the Founder, you will lead design direction across the company working with team members in product, engineering, content strategy, research and customer success. The ideal candidate will have early stage startup experience, bringing an idea to product. Responsibilities • Own the design strategy end to end and contribute to the overall product strategy • Synthesize user feedback and data, and brainstorm with the team to improve the overall user experience • Work closely with engineers and other partners to ship a high quality product • Help establish and evolve an internal design system, all while obsessing over the details of UI and Visual. • Help with hiring, mentoring, and creating a design culture within the company Keywords: marketplace, ecommerce, fintech, Faire, Stripe, Etsy, Cloudkitchen, Shopify, Instacart Please note: Due to the volume of applicants I typically receive, a follow-up email will not be sent unless a match is identified (sorry).
