JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

This role is responsible for processing and completing initial certifications and annual recertifications for the Seattle Office of Housing (SOH) affordable programs within a Centralized group of communities.

Due to the needs of this position, previous affordable programs experience within property management is required.

•Seattle Affordable Housing (MFTE, MHA, IZ, etc.) Experience Required.
•Reviews, monitors, and ensures property compliance with all Affordable Housing Programs regulations. Works closely with onsite team members, engages in collaboration with Affordable Housing Specialists/Administrators/Coordinators, and reports to Affordable Housing Manager.
•Prepares and manages applicant/resident correspondence and documentation, identifies and resolves eligibility discrepancies with further escalations/appeals to Affordable Housing Portfolio Administrators as needed, and maintains resident files and records.
•Monitors income limits, rent limits, and utility estimates. Completes and processes income/asset verifications and household certifications, including annual recertifications.
• Reviews and monitors changes in program guidelines, procedures, and policies of local agencies, e.g. Seattle Office of Housing (SOH). Ensures changes are implemented accordingly.
• Coordinates and communicates with the Seattle Office of Housing (SOH) and 3rd party compliance vendor.

The hourly range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00.

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

  • Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.

  • Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.

  • For onsite team members, onsite housing discount at Greystar-managed communities are available subject to discount and unit availability.

  • 401(k) with Company Match up to 6% of pay after 6 months of service.

  • Paid Parental Leave and lifetime Fertility Benefit reimbursement up to $10,000 (includes adoption or surrogacy).
