To learn more, visit www.greystar.com.JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARYThis role is responsible for evolving and delivering the core practices of ER and contribute at a hands-on level to support our Greystar Pillars and Values. This role is expected to cover a comprehensive range of responsibilities, focusing on resolution of complex employee relations issues. This position is remote and mainly supports team members working in AZ and CO.JOB DESCRIPTIONKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Participate in executing the Company’s strategies, initiatives, and programs that create a high-performance culture.• Developing and implementing best consultative practices in coaching, enhancing leader capability, and performance management.• Provide guidance around HR activities to mitigate risk and optimize resources.• Work closely and collaboratively with business operations leaders, Payroll, Total Rewards, Legal and HR Business Partners to manage complicated employee relations issues, resolve employee complaints, and complete a wide variety of HR generalist initiatives.• Serve as a consultant for the organization’s activities and processes for employee relations, retention, and compliance.• Implement the organization’s employment practices in compliance with Greystar’s policies and procedures, as well as federal and state law, and guide employee relations activities to assist leaders, managers, and team members in resolving issues.• Provide appropriate coaching and development feedback to managers and employees.• Work with the business on highlighting key trends in employee relations case law and actively driving training, systems, and process improvement.BASIC KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS:• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred in Business, Real Estate or related fields.• Proven experience in a leadership role within the real estate industry.• 5 years minimum of relevant experience• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.• Knowledge of current market trends and regulatory requirements.• Abilities to create and manage stakeholder relationships.• This position is remote, with occasional travel required to AZ and/or CO offices for meetings and/or training sessions.SPECIALIZED SKILLS:• Experience with Workday or Dayforce a plus, but not required.• Technical knowledge in employment regulations.• Highly effective communicator, presenter, problem-solver, etc.• HR Certification is strongly preferred.#LI-RF1The salary range for this position is $90,000-110,000.Additional Compensation:• Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.• Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.Robust Benefits Offered*:• Competitive Medical, Dental, Vision, and Disability & Life insurance benefits.
