We are seeking a quality Patient Care Coordinator for a medical office.
Responsibilities:
~Greet patients and assist them with intake paperwork.
~Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
~Schedule, reschedule, and cancel new and returning patient appointments.
~Perform insurance verification and benefit inquiries before patients see provider.
~Manage appointment schedules to optimize provider time and minimize patient wait times.~Handle appointment confirmations and follow-up communications to patients as needed.Qualifications:~Previous experience in a medical receptionist role or a related healthcare setting is preferred.~Must have proven customer service skills, with a focus on providing a positive patient experience and proficiency in using phone systems and software.~Strong organizational skills are required, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multipleresponsibilities.~This position will require a drug screen and background check.• *High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in medical officeadministration is a plus.• *Strong phone etiquette and excellent communication skills are a requirement.• *Ability to manage a high volume of calls and multitask effectively is a requirement.
