The Groundwater Remediation Operator is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the ground water remediation equipment, Advanced oxidation process (AOP).
Essential Job Functions:

Assist in the operation of groundwater remediation systems

Perform a variety of field duties
-
Conduct routine water testing
-
Maintain accurate written documentation of field observations
-
Maintain and develop positive client and team relationships
-
Monitor utility (electricity, water, sewer, natural gas, telecom) services, raw usage, rate, normalized for production usage to identify patterns and areas to target for improvement initiatives
-
Continuous improvement initiatives to reduce usage and normalized cost of utilities to meet corporate sustainability goals

Assist support of production equipment and facility infrastructure, maintenance and troubleshooting of facility and lab equipment and systems, process quality improvements.

Establishes and monitors Key Performance Indicators (downtime, process) and continuously improves performance

Monitor, analyze, and improve facility infrastructure using internal and external engineering resources in order to reduce operating expenses, facilitate growth, and minimize downtime
OTHER SKILLS and REQUIREMENTS:

Capable and knowledgeable on DOT
-
Knowledge of plumbing and piping systems, pumps, motors

Chemical knowledge (SDS, storage, DOT, PPE)

Proficiency in the use of the latest versions of the following software packages or equivalent: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MP2 or equivalent Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) (preferred),

Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects in order to achieve goals and objectives. This includes the ability to determine key requirements of a task, developing specific milestones, resource allocation, and follow up to ensure completion.

Assist with Daily Management key indicators, contractors, and project management
Minimum Qualifications:

Wastewater operator’s certification preferred
-
40 Hr. Hazwopper
-
2+ Years related experience
-
Valid Drivers License
