The role:  The Business Analyst IV is an integral part of the Product and Development teams and will serve as a vital link between Groups360's customers and internal stakeholders. This role is essential for ensuring that customer needs are accurately translated into product enhancements and business solutions. This position will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and evaluating the customers' needs and translating them into business requirements for development and implementation. 

We are seeking a collaborative individual with a strong track record of fostering cross-functional communication to gain alignment of requirements that achieve business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, advanced technical acumen, and problem-solving expertise to offer insightful solutions aimed at improving existing functionality and addressing customer challenges. 

What you will do:

• Partner with product owners and development teams to help shape the overall vision and scope of products. 

• Facilitate open-ended requirement discussions with customers, business partners, product management, internal sales, and leadership teams.   

• Evaluate data analytics from multiple sources; focus groups, Groups360 enterprise system, other applications, etc. to generate hypotheses on user behavior and changes that could positively impact objectives.   

• Communicate complex ideas in ways that can be easily understood.   

• Document and explain business requirements with Product Owner and development teams; utilizing user stories and diagrams to illustrate workflows and define project scope and timelines.  

• Create appropriate diagrams, models, and prototypes to communicate business concepts and workflows. These artifacts must be accurate and appropriate and at the correct level of detail for various audiences, team compositions, and projects.   

• Ensure that functional and non-functional requirements are met before deployment.  

• Build consensus amongst diverse team members considering differing or competing viewpoints.   

• Inform and influence technical design sessions and ensure implemented solutions satisfy the stated business needs.   

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Product Roadmap, business strategies and goals; use this knowledge to direct and guide the teams' sequence for gathering and validating requirements. Work with the team to continuously refine & update requirements artifacts and ensure repositories are well-documented and current.   

• Partner with the Quality Assurance team to develop test cases for new product features and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).  

• Ensure that all systems meet functional and non-functional requirements before deployment.  

• Monitor post-implementation performance and user behavior to identify areas for ongoing improvement.  

• Produce or assist in the production of user updates and training documentation, and customer communications.   

• Help coordinate activities between engineering, UI/UX, and product management.   

• Foster and sustain consensus among diverse team members by acknowledging and integrating various viewpoints and priorities.  

• Collaborate with team members, sharing knowledge about the company, its products, and its processes. 

Education and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or equivalent experience required. 

• 7 + years of Business Analyst experience.   

• Experience working with software development teams required.  

• Proficient in SQL. 

• Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall development principles is required.   

• Experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and collaboration software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).  

• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite: Word, PowerPoint and Excel. 

• Prior experience with prototyping software is a plus.

Core Business Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. M-F; these hours may vary depending upon your position and work requirements.
