Marketing Intern, SEO and Content

We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Intern, SEO & Content to assist with written content creation at Grove. You'll play a pivotal role in amplifying our products and thought leadership on sustainability through search engine optimized (SEO) content across our site and blog. Working in collaboration with our Creative and Marketing teams, you'll help build a content roadmap, utilizing all available tools, including AI, to craft engaging articles that resonate with both new and existing Grove customers. 

 

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this is a paid, remote-based internship for ten weeks with the potential for an extension. The rate is $20 - $25 per hour with a flexible schedule of 15 – 20 hours per week. The anticipated internship start date is June 1, but there is flexibility based on availability.

About The Role
  • Create thoughtful blog content (i.e. listicles, how-to guides, shopping lists for sustainable living), to drive top-of-funnel acquisition and nurture existing customer relationships.
  • Drive and execute the ongoing review of existing blog content to ensure its evergreen and edited for accuracy
  • Research keyword and search trends to identify priority content opportunities that will generate traffic and ultimately drive checkouts
  • Manage the content strategy roadmap in alignment with marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with both marketing and creative teams to ensure seamless execution of content initiatives
  • Embody and promote Grove's mission and values through your work


About You
  • Current college student or recent graduate with either an English or Marketing focus; experience in journalism or editorial writing is preferred, either through course of study or extracurriculars
  • Strong verbal communication skills in additional to excellent writing skills
  • Ability to be a proactive self-starter and team player that can generate and execute ideas
  • You are comfortable collaborating closely with team members at all levels and being accountable for high-visibility projects
  • You have a creative eye, while also super detailed oriented and organized 
  • Experience in collaborating well with designers and creative teams
  • Knowledge of the following is a plus: SEO, Contentful, Google Analytics, HTML, AI solutions


This part-time, hourly position is remote in one of the 12 states where Grove has established payroll. The budgeted rate range is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour. This pay range is based upon the national average and may vary depending on geographical work location and experience level.
