About the role:


 Bright Cellars is seeking a highly analytical, data-driven, innovative, and creative marketer who can independently manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a proactive and positive can-do attitude. This role will influence the design, planning, and reporting solutions for data-driven decision-making. The Lifecycle (Email & SMS) Marketing Manager will be responsible for the tactical strategy and execution of email and SMS marketing programs, including outbound campaigns, behavior-based triggers, and lifecycle programs. This individual will manage all email and SMS campaigns with the goal of acquiring new customers and driving retention to increase the overall growth of the company.


What you'll do:


  • Drive ideation and development of Email and SMS channel communications
  • Project manage, from design briefing through execution, all outbound, consumer-facing emails, and SMS
  • Perform day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging, and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered, and dynamic content-driven campaigns
  • Ensure that program engagement KPIs are maintained against set baselines for Open Rate, Click-to-Open Rate, Conversion, and Unsubscribes via continuous test and learn agenda
  • Working with the Marketing and Data, analyze channel and customer data in order to draw insights and make recommendations for driving business results through campaign optimization
  • Align with external partners to ensure consistency and effectiveness
  • Work with the Marketing and Product team to grow the channels and identify segment trends and opportunities
  • Work closely with the Creative teams
  • Manage, prioritize and deliver on ad hoc requests


About you:


  • BA/BS in Online Marketing, Marketing Communications or related fields
  • 4-5+ years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or related fields
  • Hands-on experience with ESP (i.e. Mailchimp, Chatitive, Braze, Klaviyo)
  • Knowledge of developing and executing email/SMS marketing campaigns strategies and roadmaps
  • Demonstrable expertise running and scaling acquisition and retention campaigns (bonus: experience in Subscription Marketing, Food & Bev, CPG, or related industry)
  • Comfort collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Knowledgeable in CRM, customer analysis, and reporting (Periscope, Mixpanel, BI tools)
  • Attention to detail while able to grasp the big picture
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator
  • Positive, highly motivated self-starter
  • You’re Analytical - You have strong experience with various data tools, and have an understanding of how data impacts and drives business solutions
  • You’re Driven - You have the ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision 
  • You’re a Team Player - You love to collaborate closely with the team to brainstorm and execute ideas 
  • You’re Curious - You are naturally curious and have an interest in learning new things
