Guideline is looking for a Growth Marketing Manager, Conversion Rate Optimization to join our growing Growth Marketing team.
This new role will play an important step in our Growth Marketing program, by championing Guideline's A/B testing across the funnel and standing up our Audience strategy.
- Drive the vision for Guideline's A/B testing strategy by aligning with our overall business objectives and identifying opportunities for website conversion improvements.
- Build and test high-converting landing pages for a range of campaigns including paid search, retargeting, content marketing, and collaborate cross-functionally to develop and operationalize tests for product growth and product marketing teams.
- Run A/B and multivariate experiments to continuously improve the performance of our marketing across channels
- Deliver against target KPIs through continuous innovation, testing, and scaling of winning experiments
- Monitor and report on important metrics and maintain conversion rates for the business.
- Be the owner of our Optimizely tool and all associated tests with this tool.
- Analyze results and identify successes, failures, and trends, and communicate these findings to help benchmark the CRO process, including the analysis of websites and landing pages to develop strategies to increase conversions to hit important business metric.
- Partner with other teams to share insights, understand influences on conversion rates and campaign performance, and share improvement recommendations
- Work with other departments to develop a roadmap for testing (Growth Marketing, Lifecycle, Growth Product, and Analytics)
- 5+ years of Growth Marketing or Performance Marketing experience with hypothesis-driven A/B testing, experiment design, and statistical analysis
- A technical foundation and background in digital marketing; including 4+ years of experience managing conversion/experience testing
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, social sciences, math or a related field
- Comfort using heat mapping tools, analytics tools, and reporting platforms (Google Analytics, Looker) to identify opportunities, monitor performance, and report on progress
- Experience in conversion rate optimization and excellent analytics, web development, and website marketing skills, including setting up tests to hit important team goals and have a portfolio of campaigns to demonstrate their expertise
- Experience that expands into the adjacent areas of this focus as well including managing a CDP (with support of Analytics and Engineering) and being able to tool GA4 for reporting and segment pulling
- Experience with a testing platform such as Optimizely, Segment, Google Analytics is required; priority given to candidates with mastery of segmentation/CDP tools, GA analytics, and Content Management Systems
- Work with our Analytics and product growth teams to identify proper segmentation/audience development tools (i.e. Segment, Marketo, GA) and operate necessary segmentation/audience tools
- Successful candidates will be asked to share portfolio of tests completed in prior roles
You will report directly to the Director of Growth Marketing, working with our performance marketing team and collaboratively with other departments such as Product Marketing Team and Product Growth to develop a testing roadmap.
