About the Role

Coda is looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to lead our engagement and retention efforts. You will oversee the strategy and develop the programs to provide highly personalized messaging experiences to every Coda customer to build customer relationships, foster loyalty, and increase company growth. In this hyper-collaborative role, you will partner with teams across the business to create a cohesive lifecycle experience.

 

You will sit in a revenue-facing function, which means that you'll get excellent exposure to the point where our product works with customers and guides our business forward. You will use a combination of data, testing, and a high degree of customer empathy to increase engagement, retention, conversion, and expansion. Since Coda is used across a diverse set of customers and use cases with many potential points to increase engagement, this is a unique role for a data-driven person to be creative and drive measurable results.

You will report to the Growth Marketing Lead.

What you'll work on:

  • Develop a cohesive retention and engagement strategy in partnership with product and marketing teams
  • Collaborate with Design, Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to uncover user insights and deliver compelling, personalized customer journeys throughout their lifecycle
  • Manage campaigns and programs end-to-end, including ideation, multi-channel recommendations, execution, experimentation, optimization and reporting
  • Develop hypothesis-driven experiments that use behavioral and user insights to increase customer engagement
  • Maintain a rigorous view of the experiences and communications we are delivering across our important customer segments
  • Explore, test, and refine potential new engagement and growth channels. You'll determine which communication channels we should use in the future.

Things you're experienced in:

  • 4+ years experience in Lifecycle or Cross-Channel CRM marketing (email, in-product, or mobile)
  • Experience creating a cohesive customer journey across a very horizontal product experience
  • Passionate about experimentation, iteration, and finding insight. You love scaling your findings to adjacent areas
