About the Position
The Golden State Warriors are looking for a proactive and upbeat People Operations Generalist to undertake a wide range of HR tasks (e.g., organizing trainings, crafting HR policies, etc.), assist with day-to-day HR operations and act as the main point of contact for employee questions on HR-related topics. The goal is to ensure the People Operations team runs smoothly and deliver maximum value to the organization and our employees. This position reports to the Senior Manager, People Operations.

This is a full-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the designated front-line main point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, practices, and programs
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits
- Coordinate with providers and vendors to resolve benefit related issues
- Consult with line management in providing HR guidance when appropriate
- Resolve moderate employee relations issues; conduct investigations as need
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance and training to line management (i.e., coaching, counseling, career development, etc.)
- Develop and nurture business partnerships with departments across the organization to ensure a high level of employee satisfaction and engagement
- Manage employee lifecycle including high volume onboarding and offboarding
- Recommend employee relations practices necessary to promote a high level of employee morale and motivation
- Assist, and at times lead, policy development efforts; implement and communicate policy changes
- Handle general HR administrative tasks - generate reports, enter and maintain data in the HRIS and compose correspondence
- Support annual performance management process
- Other duties as assigned
Required Experience & Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of related human resources/people operations experience; PHR certification preferred
- Solid knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, emphasis on labor relations
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays according to game and event schedule
- Knowledge of federal and state employment/labor laws
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to analyze data and provide recommendations
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidential information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with HRIS systems preferred
- Ability to quickly adapt, embrace, and implement new technology
- Ability to balance multiple projects in a demanding and fast-paced work environment
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Time Commitment
- Ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Compensation
- $74,000 - 78,000 + Bonus
