About the Role:

They are looking for a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to enhance our quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern UI testing frameworks, proficiency in automation tools like Playwright and Cypress, and a solid understanding of JavaScript. Additionally, experience in manual testing of mobile applications developed in Flutter for both iOS and Android platforms is crucial. This role involves ensuring the highest quality standards for our software products through meticulous testing and continuous improvement processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts.

• Conduct manual testing of mobile applications developed in Flutter, targeting both iOS and Android platforms.

• Work closely with the development team to identify, report, and troubleshoot defects.

• Design and execute test plans and test cases to ensure software quality.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure that testing objectives are met.

• Utilize modern UI testing frameworks to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of software applications.

• Participate in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

• Maintain documentation for test cases, test results, and other quality assurance activities.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in QA automation and mobile application testing.

Essential knowledge, skills & experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of proven experience in QA automation, particularly with tools like Playwright, Cypress, and JavaScript.

• Strong experience in manual testing, specifically for mobile applications developed in Flutter for iOS and Android.

• Knowledge of modern UI testing frameworks and best practices.

• Ability to write clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and software development lifecycle.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Advanced level of English.

Nice-to-have (optional)

• Experience with version control systems like Git.

• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Knowledge of additional programming languages or automation tools.
