Forklift Operator I - Sit Down, 2nd Shift - 1pm

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1 year of experience in a Forklift Operator role. (Sit Down or Stand Up Lifts)
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Certification: Forklift license/certification is preferred (please provide a copy in application if possible).
  • Languages: Bilingual, English and Spanish, is strongly preferred.
  • Skills: Use of RF scanners for ERP entries or WMS proficiency is preferred.

Job Description:

The Forklift Operator/Driver, operates industrial truck equipped with the lifting devices such as forklift, boom, scoop, lifting devices, swivel-hook, fork grapple, clamps, elevating platform or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in warehouse, storage yard, or factory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device 
  • Inventory materials on work floor and supply workers with material as needed
  • Load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting device 
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Stage orders ready for shipment
  • Inform Supervisors of any issues/concerns that arise
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Overtime and working on weekends/holidays may be required

Job Details:

  • Work Hours: Multiple shifts available with some variation from week-to-week with start time. 
  • Work Attire: Use good judgement, keeping in mind the nature of the work, each employee’s own safety and the safety of others, and the need to interact with the public. 
  • Pay Range: $18.00-19.00/hr
