Your JobGuardian, a Koch Industries company, is looking for an entrepreneurial, innovative Data Scientist Manager to join our team of data science leaders for commercial initiatives! The ideal candidate will be collaborative, value seeking, open to challenge and willing to experiment with new techniques, approaches, and partnerships of mutual benefit with internal/external teams.The position can be based at one of our offices in Auburn Hills, MI, Carleton, MI or Atlanta, GA.What You Will Do• Analytics Impact: Contribute to and manage advanced analytics (Data Science/ Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning) initiatives that create tangible business value, beyond POCs and Pilots.• Develop predictive analytics models and incorporate into existing software (Salesforce, Infor, Pros etc.,) or create custom AI solutions (C3.ai, Sagemaker) and deploy production ready solutions• Collaborate with, motivate, and develop a team of advanced analysts and data scientists• Partner with teams across Guardian/Koch to implement analytics solutions, including areas such as Sales and Marketing, HR, Finance, etc.• Analytics Project Ownership: Work on all aspects of analytics projects from start to finish - pursuing innovative ideas, developing models, uncovering and communicating actionable insights and deploy solutions to capture value.• Partnership: Develop and maintain relationships with key business partners to enable improved decision making.• Influence resource deployment between internal, external and partner resources• Contribute actively to knowledge management and educating the business teams on advanced analyticsWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)• 7 years of experience delivering results from advanced analytics projects; with at least 2 years in a lead/supervisor role• Experience with and understanding of sales and marketing, and application of advanced analytics in that domain.• Experience with working with vendor platforms (eg., Salesforce) in integrating AA insights• Hands on experience in developing AA solutions• Coding and statistical modeling skills in Python• Data science libraries (such as NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Shiny/streamlit, scikit-learn, etc.)• Proficiency with SQL, NoSQL; Familiarity with Graph DB• Experience with Snowflake or AWS cloud platform• Familiarity with one or more of AI platforms (C3.ai, Salesforce Einstein)• Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations (GDPR, CCPA)• Understanding of the data/analytics problem/solution space and vendor landscape.• Experience leading an analytics/ data science program and working a project from initial scoping, delivering a minimum viable product and deployment at-scale.• Experience translating customer needs into projects/opportunities.What Will Put You Ahead• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, engineering, Mathematics/Statistics• Experience with one or more of AI platforms (C3.ai, Salesforce Einstein)• Familiarity with building GenAi derived solutions using LLM• Experience managing multiple initiatives at onceAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
