Position Summary

At Asante, the Three Rivers Medical Center Family House in Grants Pass offers affordable, temporary lodging for children and adults who are patients of Asante Three Rivers Medical Center or nearby Asante facilities and their families. Designed for patients and families who live outside the Grants Pass area, lodging is provided based on availability. The Family House is located within easy walking distance of Asante Three Rivers. The 7,400-square-foot facility provides a framework for mutual support while affording the privacy guests require. This includes seven guest rooms with private bathrooms, with one room including ADA accommodations); a common living room dining area; a large, shared kitchen and a fully equipped laundry room

The Coordinator of Guest Housing for Asante helps coordinate the daily operations of Asante Guest Housing and provides oversight to ensure smooth and safe operation of the facility. In cooperation with other guest housing staff, the Guest Housing Coordinator ensures a clean, caring, and supportive environment for guests and volunteers and is accountable for stewardship of our mission to provide comfort, care, and support to children and families while they are receiving treatment at Asante. Responsibilities include overseeing the activities of staff, volunteers, or guests to ensure fulfillment of assignments aimed at satisfying customer needs; performing a variety of duties including inventory and ordering supplies, various administrative, clerical, and housekeeping tasks; and staff/volunteer scheduling and training.

Position Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years progressively more responsible experience in customer service, hospitality, or healthcare setting.
• Previous experience working with people in extremely stressful situations, including death, end of life care and grief.
• Experience working with volunteers.
