What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking a Discrete Event Simulation Engineer who will support the delivery of modeling and simulation solutions, specifically discrete event simulation, for industrial manufacturing processes. You will work closely with clients, project managers, engineers, data scientists, and other developers to deliver technical tools and strategies for optimizing industrial processes. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes at the value stream level, process constraints and strategies to mitigate, and optimization technologies for addressing those constraints.

What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED Secret Federal or DoD security clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics field

  • Three (3) or more years of experience related to modeling and simulation, data analytics, or data science


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience with discrete event simulation and supporting software (Simio, Arena, FlexSim, etc.)

  • Knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes

  • Knowledge of value stream mapping of manufacturing processes
