Job FamilyScientist (Digital)Travel RequiredUp to 10%Clearance RequiredAbility to Obtain Public TrustWhat You Will Do• Design and conduct experiments and studies requiring the application of a broad professional knowledge of scientific theories and principles.• Advance the science in the laboratory through new procedures and discoveries.• Write technical reports and prepare manuscripts.• Work with staff on the interpretation of experiments performed by research scientists.• Independently direct and conduct special research projects that have a high priority for the laboratory with special emphasis in the development of novel research treatments.• Review scientific data to determine if a research program can be developed around an idea or data package.• Oversee project data quality; analyze and interpret project data.What You Will Need• Requires a University Degree and minimum (FOUR) 4-6 years of prior relevant experience; some roles may require graduate-level education Master’s or Doctorate degree (Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree)Implements scientific project.• Develops requirements from a project's inception to its conclusion in the subject matter area of interest.• Assists other senior level consultants with analysis and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization, and development and/or maintenance efforts.This requisition has been posted for the purpose of pipelining building relationships with qualified candidates in order to potentially hire them into future openings we will have.What Would Be Nice To Have• Train staff on the proper usage of laboratory instruments and equipment• PHDThe annual salary range for this position is $100,200.00-$150,200.00.
