What You Will Do:

  • Perform systems engineering activities and assist in preparation of a work product in technical process areas associated with ISO/IEC 15288.

  • Assist in performing systems engineering activities in ISO/IEC Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas.

  • Perform analysis of technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendations.

  • Develop and deliver a work product in any of the ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas.

What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET/SCI federal security clearance with a Full Scope/Lifestyle (FS) polygraph

  • High School Diploma or GED and FOUR (4) additional years of general system engineering experience may be used in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree

  • FOUR (4) or more years of systems engineering experience.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Field (Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management) or a related discipline (Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics) from an accredited college or university

  • -OR- A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management) or a related discipline (Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics) from an accredited college or university may be substituted for ONE (1) year of systems engineering experience

  • -OR- A PhD in a Engineering Field (Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management) or a related discipline (Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics) from an accredited college or university may be substituted for THREE (3) years of systems engineering experience.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Powershell, Bash) to automate system processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual tasks.

  • Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps tools to support scalable and resilient system deployments.

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, and document system designs clearly.

  • Proactive mindset for troubleshooting complex system issues, quickly adapting to new technologies, and optimizing infrastructure.

The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$124,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
