As a Senior UI/UX Designer at Gurobi Optimization, your role is pivotal in leading and shaping the company's creative direction. You will spearhead the conceptualization, design, and execution of innovative, creative projects, ensuring brand-relevant concepts for effective communication across webpages, digital marketing campaigns, events, and presentations.Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and agencies, you will maintain brand consistency, crafting visually appealing design concepts that meet user needs and project objectives while applying best practices in user experience and user interface design. Please note: The role will not includeUI/UX of our softwarebut rather on branded deliverables, spaces, digital ecosystems, visual communication, content, internal and external experiences.
Your dedication to iterating based on feedback, managing multiple projects efficiently, and staying updated on industry trends will be crucial in delivering high-quality design work and maintaining the company's competitive edge. You will also play a vital role in presenting and communicating design strategies to stakeholders, pitching concepts, and justifying design choices, contributing to the company's creative vision and brand integrity while reporting to the Director of Creative Services.
What will you be doing? - Leading Creative Projects:
- Spearheading conceptualization, design, and execution of creative projects.
- Driving brand-relevant concepts for effective communications across webpages, digital marketing campaigns, events, and presentations.
- Collaborating with Stakeholders:
- Working closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, and agencies.
- Ensuring campaigns and designs align with brand guidelines and maintain consistency across digital platforms.
- Creating Design Concepts:
- Developing innovative and visually appealing concepts, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
- Based on user needs, project requirements, and departmental objectives.
- Implementing UX/UI Principles:
- Applying UX/UI best practices to create intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences.
- Optimizing usability and engagement.
- Iterating Based on Feedback:
- Incorporating feedback from stakeholders, user testing, and analytics.
- Continuously refining designs and improving user experience.
- Managing Multiple Projects:
- Handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Managing timelines, priorities, and resources effectively.
- Maintaining high-quality design output.
- Staying Updated on Trends:
- Keeping up to date on industry trends, emerging design technologies, and tools.
- Ensuring designs remain innovative and relevant.
- Presenting and communicating designs

What experience and qualifications should you have?- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Design, Visual Arts, Visual Communication, or a relevant field.
- Possess 7+ years of design experience or related work experience.
- Creative Portfolio: Showcase a strong personal creative portfolio demonstrating your skills and achievements in the field.
What skills, abilities, and behaviors should you have? - Design Software Proficiency: Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other relevant design tools.
- UI/UX Understanding: Strong understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) principles.
