Human Resources Specialist (Onsite)

Gwynedd Manufacturing, a growing defense contractor located in North Wales, PA, is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility dedicated to producing quality products for the U.S. Department of Defense and various U.S. Federal Law Enforcement Agencies. The Human Resources Specialist (Onsite) will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department's initiatives and operations. This position is responsible for managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and training, ensuring that all HR processes align with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees on various HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Participate in HR projects and support strategic planning efforts.
  • Serve as backup for processing bi-weekly payroll when necessary.
  • Support the HR department with administrative duties as assigned.
  • Visit various community centers to create awareness of our organization.
  • Actively seek out and participate in community events.

  • 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think independently
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management systems.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Available to adjust schedule to work nights & weekends.
