As an FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) strategy manager, you will be a key member of our finance team, driving strategic initiatives and special projects that directly impact the financial performance and long-term growth trajectory of the organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to lead financial analyses, develop business cases, and provide decision support for key strategic projects, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and delivering actionable insights to senior leadership.
Located remotely in the United States and reports directly to VP, Strategic Finance.
Strategic Initiative Leadership:
Lead and manage strategic projects and initiatives from conception to implementation, partnering with stakeholders across departments to drive cross-functional alignment and execution.
Utilize project management methodologies to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring successful project outcomes and ROI realization.
Financial Analysis and Modeling:
Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and NPV calculations, to assess the financial impact and feasibility of strategic projects and investment opportunities.
Develop detailed financial models and business cases to support decision-making processes and guide resource allocation towards high-impact initiatives.
Investment Evaluation and Capital Allocation:
Evaluate potential investments, acquisitions, and capital allocation decisions through rigorous financial analysis and due diligence, assessing risks, opportunities, and strategic fit.
Provide recommendations and insights to senior leadership on capital allocation priorities, based on projected financial returns, strategic alignment, and risk considerations.
Performance Measurement and Optimization:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and effectiveness of strategic projects, tracking performance against targets and identifying opportunities for optimization.
Conduct post-implementation reviews and performance assessments to capture lessons learned, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization of strategic initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, Marketing, and Product Management to align project objectives with overall business strategy and ensure seamless execution.
Serve as a trusted advisor to project stakeholders, providing financial insights, analysis, and decision support to drive informed decision-making and project success.
Process Improvement and Best Practices:
Drive process improvement initiatives within the FP&A function, implementing best practices, standardizing methodologies, and enhancing tools and systems to streamline project analysis and reporting processes.
Leverage technology and automation solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of project-based financial analysis and reporting.
5+ years experience as a financial analysis or consultant.
Strong experience in financial modeling, analysis, and valuation techniques.
Proactive mindset, with a drive for results and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage project timelines and deliverables, and drive successful project outcomes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Must be based remotely in US. HackerOne is a digital-first company. This model offers our employees flexibility in time and location. All employees must be able to work and excel in a remote environment.
