Primary Objectives 20% BIG ROCKS – These must be done first and at all costs.
- Scaling Operations: Ensure the business can scale by refining operational processes, especially with large or complicated product launches and quick pivots.
- Team Alignment: Ensure all teams (marketing, product, operations) are working cohesively on aligned goals.
- Accountability Systems: Create and maintain clear accountability frameworks for KPIs. Then hold team members accountable.
- Process Automation: Lead process automation and implementation of new tools to reduce manual work.
- Amazon Account Health Management & Troubleshooting, creating appeals and plans of action as necessary.
- Ensure we are hitting >20% Net Income
Regular Work Activities 80% – These must be done ongoing daily/weekly after the BIG ROCKS are complete.
- Oversees the day to day operations of the business of the Company.
- Identifying and driving improved performance, enhancements, automations, and efficiencies in our processes.
- Approving tasks that need to be approved
- Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned staff.
- Ensures that defects are caught during the QA process to reduce errors
- Manages roadmap & coordinates the project kickoff of product launches
- Determines labor needs to meet production goals.
- Coordinates with process manager to ensure all SOP’s are up to date and followed
- Oversee’s the training of new team members using an online training video platform
- Drive the introduction of automation and AI tools to enhance operational efficiency. The Director will be responsible for evaluating, selecting, and implementing new technologies across various departments to reduce manual workloads and increase productivity. This includes researching emerging technologies and ensuring the seamless integration of these tools into daily workflows.
- Lead and ensure smooth communication across all departments, including marketing, customer service, product development, and operations. The Director will oversee regular cross-functional meetings to ensure product launches, priorities, and ongoing projects are aligned and supported by all teams.
- Train, develop, mentor and evaluate team members effectively
- Assess individual job performance & recommending an appropriate course of action for personnel issues
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handles discipline and termination of team members as needed and in accordance with company policy.
- Ensure all team members are properly performing 411’s
- Drive effective collaboration, communication, and commitment across multiple departments with competing priorities (always making sure a new project aligns with one of our three company priorities)
- Maintain & provide weekly and daily reports that reflect the status of all projects happening in the business.
