Hadrian — Manufacturing the Future
Hadrian is building autonomous factories that help aerospace and defense companies make rockets, jets, and satellites 10x faster and 2x cheaper. Our CEO, Chris Power, discusses the importance of what we're building in this video.
We are a lean but mighty team (and growing!) people that are passionate about building critical infrastructure to support the nation and the advancement of humanity.
To support our ambitious vision, we have raised > $200M from Lux Capital, A16Z, Founders Fund, Construct Capital, Caffeinated Capital, and more.
Factory Automation
Hadrian’s Factory Automation team partners with our R&D, Robotics, and Manufacturing Automation teams to build and scale autonomous robotic production cells. These autonomous cells typically have a user interface for interaction and control of the cell, backend scheduling software to prioritize work and execute manufacturing sequences, and edge computing to control hardware such as CNC machines and robots.
To date, Hadrian has built systems to automate high-precision machining, CMM quality inspections, and cutting tool assembly. As the business continues to expand into new factories and additional manufacturing processes, the Factory Automation team will expand capabilities, productionize and scale existing systems, and own the software stack that drives production of aerospace parts.
