What you'll be doing...

If meticulous bleaching, an obsession with toner mixes and providing the ultimate care for coloured hair sounds like part of your normal day then this could be the role for you! As a Bleach London Stylist in our Soho salon, you will be an integral part of a team full of experts who love what they do. Reporting to the Salon Team Leader, you will be performing high quality colour, cutting and styling services for clients and VIPs, retailing the Bleach London product line, producing content for online social media activity and participating in various brand events.

The meteoric rise of hair brand Bleach London is best described by Time Out as "The grungy salon that pioneered the dip-dye, then conquered the globe." The female-led, boundary-pushing business was launched by Alex Brownsell and Sam Campbell in 2010 as the world's first salon focused on colour.

With a closely knit family of international premises, ever-expanding vegan product range and intuitive digital salon services, Brownsell and Campbell have reimagined the way people approach their hair. They're on a mission to make Bleach's expertise accessible to all, so anyone can express themselves through their hair colour affordably and informatively.

Carried in UK retailers including Boots, Superdrug, Cult Beauty and ASOS, Bleach London opened a LA Based Salon in 2021 and has a significant US National Retailer launch planned for 2022. The coveted Bleach brand, regularly featured in Vogue, Dazed, i-D and more, paired with its pioneering approach, marks a new era in digital beauty and at-home hair dyeing.

Some of the things you'll be doing:

• Providing high quality hairdressing services for clients and VIPs including (but not limited to) bleaching, colour corrections, creative colouring, balayage, highlights, tinting, cutting and styling.
• Using the Bleach London range alongside other professional colour ranges.
• Establishing and retaining a loyal clientele by creating a bespoke journey for their hair goals through excellent consultation skills along with aftercare advice and rebookings.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace environment, adhering to COVID-19 regulations.
• Producing consistent and quality content for our social media platforms.
• Joining our expert team of stylists on the online Digital Salon.
• Participating in occasional brand events and travel for work or training.
• Keeping a finger on the pulse for exciting new trends and products.

Must haves:

• Minimum 3 years experience working as a qualified stylist in a high quality salon with a focus on colouring.
• Exceptional hair colouring, cutting and styling skills with bleaching, colour correction and creative work at the top of your skillset.
• Friendly and approachable with high customer service standards and great communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic about using online and offline tools for communication and keeping organised.
• A passion for the hair industry with a sustainable approach towards stock use, recycling, limiting waste and caring for equipment.
• Hairdressing NVQ2/Level 2 diploma or equivalent as a minimum.
• Full and valid right to work in the UK.
• Experience using Wella colour is desirable but not essential.
