HBC Warehouse Technician

WHAT THIS ROLE IS AND HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:

The Warehouse Technician coordinates delivery and receipt of inventory to multiple internal and external destinations. Receives and unloads incoming material. Prepares and loads finished goods for shipping. Prepares and ships packages and palletized materials utilizing FedEx, USPS and Hallmark's internal freight management system. Responsible for ensuring all orders are shipped by end of day. Responsible to drop off orders at USPS by end of day. Will require use of personal vehicle and reimbursement of mileage.

The Warehouse Technician will be located at our Liberty Distribution Center in Liberty, MO.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • HS diploma or GED
  • Must have valid driver's license. Expect to use personal vehicle and receive mileage reimbursement.
  • Must be able to work up to 12 hours per day.
  • Must be able to work weekends, based on business need.
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification within 8 weeks.
  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds 10-15 times per hour.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds 10-15 times per day/shift.
  • Minimum six months experience in shipping and receiving.
  • Minimum six months experience using a freight management system.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience using Microsoft Suite.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Must be able to work in a team oriented, fast-paced and deadline driven environment.
  • Must display strong communication skills, basic math skills and good reading skills.
