Hanna Andersson is seeking a self-motivated, experienced Sr. Manager of Public Relations and Partnerships who will be responsible for overseeing all public relation efforts, including developing strategies and executing proactive and reactive media relations, overseeing brand launches, and elevating company leadership. They will work alongside the VP Marketing to uphold external reputation and expand reach. In addition, they will be responsible for launching new Brand partnerships as well as developing and executing on-going co-marketing programs with existing partners.  They will ensure that all executional details are activated as appropriate.


This role will work with internal teams to build trust and provide strategic counsel, as well as with members of the media and external influencers to tell new and interesting stories about Hanna Andersson. The candidate will have experience in managing brand narratives, honed media capabilities and strong written skills. They must crave ownership to develop strategies, direct agency partners, act as liaison between leadership and media or partner.  They will bring  an enterprise perspective to crafting materials, prepping executives, executing on short and long term PR plans and ensuring Hanna Andersson is reflected in brand appropriate environments.


  • Support VP Marketing and Chief Brand Officer in development of global communications strategies, programming and activations that drive demand, energy and cultural relevancy, aligned to brand goals and business objectives.
  • Manage the development of external communications plans that foster consumer connections, inspire new/existing audiences, and keep Hanna Andersson deep in the cultural narrative of today.
  • Builds/supports network of relevant media & industry relations and helps facilitate ongoing media opportunities.
  • Identifies, ideates & implements communications and storytelling opportunities across all communications functions: social media, celebrity, influence, advocacy, corporate communications, brand experience, etc. 
  • Supports in the development of proactive global communications programs, partnering on all incoming/outgoing media requests and opportunities across product, launches, content, leadership & experiences. 
  • Manages the development of key seasonal product placements and stories. 
  • Manages strategy and execution of gifting strategies.
  • Manages all reporting around press programs based on existing/new platforms & consumer insights in partnership with full team.
  • Manages and mentors agency, energizing and leading the team.
  • Collects and shares POV on executive press opportunities, including podcasts, forums and conferences.
  • Identifies, researches and puts forth recommendations potential marketing partnerships in alignment with the brand’s strategic goals
  • Develops and maintains relationships with existing partners including regular communication and joining planning. 
  • Co-ordinate with partners to launch and execute campaigns, events, activations that drive brand awareness.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and execute partnership strategies and tactics.
  • Tracking effectiveness of  efforts as it relates to partnerships and PR, measuring results and sharing success with internal teams and leaders.


What you'll bring:
  • 8 years’ experience at a PR agency, or in-house with a brand team. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills & EQ
  • Ability to work productively in a fast-paced, creative, collaborative environment.
  • Deep knowledge and interest in media trends. 
  • Stay current on fashion, entertainment, lifestyle, culture, art, music and design trends. 
  • Have a strong POV on media, digital platforms/commerce and latest trends. 
  • Resourceful, creative and self-motivated with strong organizational skills and aptitude for immediately developing a highly organized approach to managing multiple projects.
  • Must be motivated, flexible, poised, and adaptable in rapidly changing and fast-paced environment.
  • Developed editorial and design skills (writing, editing, grammar, proofreading, laying out + designing presentations, etc.) along with a high-level of creativity.


$140,000 - $150,000 a year

This listed base salary range is a good faith representation of the base salary range for this position. However, location, unique skills and/or exceptional experience may result in an offer outside of the stated range.
