Hanover Research - Account Manager, K-12 EducationArlington, VAThe Account Manager ensures service delivery to existing clients and conducts renewal and relationship-expansion conversations with senior-level decision makers in the K-12 Education industry.Our Account Management team plays a critical role in driving the growth and expansion of our firm. They are passionate about the markets we serve and are dedicated to high-performance.• Building relationships with current clients through demonstration of in-depth institutional knowledge, understanding of specific institutional needs or priorities, and the ability to propose custom research solutions• Navigating Hanover’s partnership offerings on behalf of the organization, ensuring the appropriate service is provided to meet the client’s needs• Determining appropriate tactics to drive urgency in the renewal and upsell cycle• Creating the opportunity to expand existing relationships through cross-sell opportunities of other service offerings• Educating contacts on the benefits of Hanover's products and services through compelling articulation of our business model and value proposition• Creating customized account plans for each organization, outlining service delivery and revenue-growth strategies for existing and potential clients• Collaborating with the Content team to ensure targeted and substantive solution delivery• Meet challenging monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals• Predicting cash retention probability and reporting findings to senior leadershipDesired Skills And Attributes• Bachelor’s degree preferred (business, social sciences, education, communications, political science, economics, psychology, public policy preferred)• 3-7 years of Account Management or Sales experience• Experince within the Education field is highly desirable• Excellent oral and written communication skills• Willingness to work outside the strict job description parameters, thinking creatively about how to provide the highest level of client service• Ability to develop relationships, establish credibility, and conduct substantive content discussions with decision makers• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong ability to think strategically about client management• Ability to diagnose client needs and identify relevant solutionsLocationDMV region preferred (office in Arlington VA)Remote option availableWork ScheduleMonday - FridayBenefits• Competitive base salary and uncapped commission earning potential• Award-winning training program on markets, research methodologies and sales skills• Top performers will be eligible for an annual sales incentive trip• Starting at 18+ days Paid Time Off• 15 paid holidays including Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Juneteenth, Indigenous People’s Day, and personal holidays• 401(K) employer matching program• Comprehensive health and dental benefits package• Health and wellness packages with discounts to local gym• Annual company-wide day of service and monthly events partnering with local organizations such as KidPower, Martha’s Kitchen, DC SPCA• Community service opportunities• In office unlimited snacks and beveragesCompensationHanover Research strives to create compensation and benefits programs that are competitive, equitable and fair. The On Target Earning (OTE) range for this role is $100,000 - $135,000 per year, which is comprised of a base salary range from $70,000- $90,000 and a variable uncapped commission structure ranging from $30,000 - $45,000 when goal is 100% obtained for this role. Please note that the base salary offered is contingent on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  Our base pay range is determined by the role and the market.Hanover believes in supporting our team’s overall well-being now and in the future.
