We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as an Events Sales Manager, for venues located in Brooklyn and Manhattan. As an Event Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue generation through prospecting, soliciting, and negotiating new business opportunities. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining strong client relationships to maximize sales revenue and enhance our brand presence.

As an Event Sales Manager, your role focuses on driving revenue through event sales, acquiring new clients and maintaining lasting relationships with repeat clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for your clients, understanding their needs and providing personalized solutions. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients through regular communication and follow-ups. Anticipate client requirements and proactively address any issues or concerns to ensure client satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and exceed client expectations.
- Sales Strategy Development: Implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. This involves identifying new business opportunities, upselling/cross-selling event packages, and negotiating contracts.
- Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and pursue new sales leads within the events industry. Research and target prospective clients through various channels such as networking events, referrals, and research. Develop tailored sales pitches and presentations to showcase our event services and offerings. Qualify leads, conduct prospecting activities, and follow up to convert leads into sales opportunities. Conduct negotiations and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Proposal Development and Presentation: Prepare customized event proposals and presentations tailored to the needs of prospective clients. Highlight the unique value propositions of your events and address client concerns effectively.
- Contract Negotiation:Negotiate terms and conditions of event contracts, including pricing, payment terms, and event logistics. Ensure contracts are mutually beneficial and align with company policies and objectives.
- Event Planning Support: Work closely with clients to understand their event objectives, preferences, and budget constraints. Coordinate with internal event planning and operations teams to create detailed event proposals and plans. Oversee the execution of events from conception to completion, ensuring all aspects meet quality standards and deadlines. Provide on-site support during events, troubleshooting any issues and ensuring smooth operations.
- Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Use market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Customer Feedback and Satisfaction: Gather feedback from clients post-event to evaluate satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for improvement. Use client feedback to refine sales strategies, enhance service offerings, and strengthen client relationships.
- Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and analyze event performance, providing regular reports to senior management. Gather client feedback and use it to improve future events and services.
Requirements:
- 4+ Years in proven experience in event sales, business development, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Knowledge of the events industry and current market trends.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Results-driven with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Proficient in Tripleseat
- Knowledge of the art world, fashion world, and NY happenings.

The base pay range for this position is a salary range of $80,000-$90,000 USD Salary per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
