Director of Accounting
Harbinger Motors Inc., a Southern California-based electric vehicle manufacturer, is seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Accounting to oversee all accounting activities, financial compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Skills
- Extensive experience in accounting for a manufacturing company
- ERP implementation expertise
- Strong financial statement preparation skills
- Knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Leadership experience in startups and automotive industry
Responsibilities
- Direct all aspects of accounting activities including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance
- Lead ERP system implementation for financial and controls perspective
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders for financial compliance
- Prepare and deliver financial reports to senior management and investors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and analysis
- Develop and execute a public company readiness plan
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Current CPA license
