Reports to Manager.Qualifications• BSN required• Minimum three years critical care experience (ICU or ED). One year of this experience must be in an ICU.• Certification in the following areas : Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) or, Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) or Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN)• Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and CPR certification• CT and RI Paramedic License• Advance skills : endotracheal intubation, cricothyroidotomy, pericardiocentesis, peripheral and central venous access, introsseous infusion, umbilical venous catheterization and needle thoracotomy.We take great care of careers.With locations around the state, Hartford HealthCare offers exciting opportunities for career development and growth.
