You’ll need to be a sharp and savvy editor who can help writers turn an initial draft into something great, guide both new and experienced technical writers through tricky pieces, and quickly edit copy, shaping it to be as exceptional as possible.Directive’s Editorial Lead will work on a broad scope of content. You’ll need to be able to jump from a deep dive on data encrypted end-to-end digital vault platforms, to an experiential piece on emerging cybersecurity tech, to a biting thought-leadership piece on why developers are seeking alternatives to javascript - all in the space of an afternoon while bringing insight and clarity to every one. A comfort with a range of topics and tones is essential, and the ability to identify what type of perspective is needed for any given piece of content is a must.This individual will also come with a network of freelance writers and will help us build our network of high-quality, sub-specialized writers to meet the needs of our clients.
