About the Team

The Role

As the Engineering Manager at HashiCorp, you will build and lead a high-performing team to achieve our vision of an enterprise-ready product across cloud and self-managed offerings. You will drive Engineering to deliver on feature requests and enhance functionality. This role will require productive collaboration with Design, Product, and other cross-functional partners to innovate toward true product-market fit.

What you'll do (responsibilities)

  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a diverse and high-performing engineering team. Foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture.
  • Drive the team to deliver on feature requests enhancing the product's capabilities.
  • Expand and enhance features, ensuring it remains a key differentiator for product.
  • Work closely with Design, Product, and other cross-functional teams to align on product vision and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Develop and refine robust processes to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of product.
  • Prioritize and address customer issues and feedback, continuously improving the customer experience.

What you’ll need (basic qualifications)

  • At least 10 years of engineering experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a management role. Experience leading diverse product engineering teams is highly preferred.
  • Strong background in cloud services and infrastructure. Proficiency in Go and familiarity with other programming languages (Python, Ruby) are beneficial.
  • Extensive experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
  • Demonstrated ability to tackle complex technical challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and team success.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment. #LI-Hybrid
